All of the new dies you'll be seeing on the hop are available NOW at your local stamp store or online in the IO Store!
I went with Halloween for today's card, combined with a little Copic airbrushing for my background! You can see from the full die below, I did have to do a little trimming on the tree to fit witchy in to the scene.

Here are the dies I used for today's card:

I used the Sun, Moon and Stars die to make masks out of Eclipse Tape. You can see the Copics colors that I used to airbrush. I just kept adding layers of color over one another til I was satisfied.

I peeled off the masks when I was done airbrushing. I left the moon white and added a little clear Wink of Stella for some subtle sparkle. I used Copic YR23 to color in the stars. I cut the tree frame and the witch out of black linen card stock and then covered them with Black WInk of Stella to get a shimmery finish. It's so hard to capture how pretty Wink of Stella is in a picture... I tried! If you don't airbrush, you could achieve a similar look using a brayer.

I cut off just the hat on the witch die and added it atop the fun Halloween Witches sentiment (#C14308)

Thanks to all of you following the Hop!

For the first hop day, I wanted to create a holiday card that could be mass produced if you wanted to do a batch of them. This card is pretty easy to make and would be quick IF you left the pearls off... I won't lie to you... it took me about thirty minutes to put all the those tiny pearls around the frame! They kept flipping around and I spent as much time chasing them as I did glueing them in place!

These are the dies I used for today's card:

I embossed white heavy weight paper with the Snowflake Background. The two largest Rectangle Frames are nested together and popped up using foam tape for dimension. I used a glue pen to add the delicate Season's Greetings die cut.

On the inside liner, I added the largest Rectangle Frame and a few gold snowflakes. You can see the little circle embossed detail on the frame... those little circles just begged for a pearl or jewel!

Here are the Blog Hop links again for you!
Have fun Hopping!

I used the adorable Monster Mash stamp set and Stitched Rectangle Dies from Lawn Fawn for my card today. All of my pattern paper is also from from Lawn Fawn.... all of their stamps and papers just scream CUTE and HAPPY! And of course I used my Perfect Layer Tools for all my layers! I'm definitely reaching for my Mini Rulers when I do cards... they are quick and fast when working with layers for cards.

I cut a green oval to create my hill. I adhered that on to the blue background and then used my Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out the panel, adding a 1/16" black border. My wiggly eyes were not big enough to cover the eye area, so I colored the eye black, giving it a little bit of an outlined look.  I stamped all of the Monsters on patterned paper and cut them out. On top of my bow I added a little Lawn Fawn Sequin and topped it with another wiggly eye.

On the inside I added a little strip of patterned paper and also used the Stitched Rectangle Die for the inside liner.  In love with these rectangles! Finished card size is 4 1/4" x 3".

It's an odd card that I only use dies... no Copics, no stamping... but that's how it evolved! I'm all over the new dies and coming soon we'll be tempting you with a blog hop showing all the new dies off! I used the Snowflake Background Die and did some creative cutting to use a portion along the bottom. The Peace Die is also from the newest release.

On the inside liner, I used the Snowflake Cut Out Dies, which leave a beautiful peek-a-boo snowflake shape! I LOVE these!!!

After cutting out my elements I adhered them to the wintergreen paper. I then ran it thru an embossing folder... quilting all the elements together. The embossing was very deep and I wanted it a little softer so it didn't compete with the beautiful snowflakes. I used a folded piece of paper and put my embossed panel in that and ran it thru my machine, which slightly flattened out the embossing, leaving a subtle texture. Finished card is 4 7/8" square. I embellished with three little sequins only. NO BOW... shocker.

Summer's last Hurrah sounds pretty good to me. I'm over the humidity and the heat in Atlanta and ready to welcome fall! I thought I'd color up one of my favorite flowers from Serendipity, the Large Geranium.

The DT had a challenge twist to use a picture for inspiration for our card.
I found this beautiful picture (below) on a photographer's blog- Greece in My Heart. Check out her blog with a cup of coffee and sit back and look at some inspiring pictures.

I used the Out of the Box technique with an oval nestie to cut out my flowers. B00 and B0000 were used in the background. My assortment of flower colors were chosen to match my card stock.

Here's the up close. I've used foam tape in between layers to add dimension. I could not find my Wink of Stella Clear Brush pen, so there's no sparkle on the flowers. I tried not to panic... I know Stella is in there somewhere. Totally addicted to that glittery pen!

On the inside, I used a portion of Serendipity's Floral Frame along the bottom edge... creatively cutting away the top portion of the frame to make this little border. I added the pretty Hello Die so this card could be used for any occasion. The card is an A2 and opens tent style at the bottom.

Serendipity Autumn Blog Hop

Welcome to our Autumn Blog Hop with Serendipity Stamps! Hop along and leave a little comment love on the blogs before midnight on September 14 for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate!
For a second way to win just LIKE us and SHARE on Facebook.
The winners will be posted on Mary's Blog on Monday, September 15th.

Here's the Hop List!

Brand new designs perfect for a fall themed card or making a Thanksgiving card! I used the new Leaf Pops Background stamp on my card front.

I cut out the card front using Spellbinder's Labels 29. I airbrushed while the paper remained in the die so I could keep the clean white border.

I colored the leaves a bit heavier than I normally would, planning to put the vellum over the top.

I used a Gold Krylon pen to edge all of the card layers and also the die cuts.
