Remember to leave some love on All the blogs to be in the hop for a chance to win the prize!

CARD 1
I used the new Flower Pops set to create a little cluster of blooms. This set has endless possibilities! I only used one of the flowers, stamping it multiple times and cutting it out in it's entirety and then cutting it out in smaller pieces.
I added a small little for you tag in the mix with a sparkly little bow. I framed the flowers with layers from Spellbinder's new Elegant Ovals. I curved the flowers and leaves and dimensional silicone to pop them up.

On the inside I added the beautiful new Happy Mother's Day sentiment. I just love this one... it's unique and the cross stitch portion stamps so clean!

CARD 2
I paired up the Happy Mother's Day sentiment with the patchwork design paper from Bo Bunny's Pin Cushion Collection.  I used Spellbinder's Luscious Labels to create the card base.

I stamped the sentiment with Memento's Grey Flannel ink and added a little soft airbrushing with Copic YR02. I added the piercing while the paper was still in the die, using the die edge as a guide to keep my piercings nice and straight.

Here's the inside I added a little Love You sentiment along with a little more of the Bo Bunny Pin Cushion paper

Here's the hop order again... Have fun!

The Design Teams have paired up the fun SugarPea images along with Perfect Paper Crafting Tools for some inspiring designs!

Here's your hop list:
Jenny Gropp - you are here!

I used the cute little Gopher Set for my card today. Along with the cute little gopher, there are lots of sentiments than can be used for different occasions.

I started by stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black. I For the dirt I used the Copic Fur Technique with Blender Solution and dabbing with a rag to remove a little color and add some texture.

I finished coloring the image with the markers shown above.

I added just a touch of BV0000 to the gems but you can't really see it in the pictures. For some sparkle on the gems, I used my Clear Wink of Stella Brush Pen.

Lots of layers on the front and the inside! All made easily with my Perfect Layers Rulers! To see a tutorial on how I framed the image with the stripes going different directions, click HERE.

I added a little piercing on the inside along with a strip of the left over striped paper (Simple Stories). The card is 4 3/4" Square and opens at the bottom tent style.

Impression Obsession: Pink and Easter!

It's Thursday which means a new challenge starts from Impression Obsession!
It's all about doing something OUT OF THE BOX for this challenge! Join us for this challenge and a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to shop for some new rubber from IO. Find all the details on how to play along on the Impression Obsession Blog

Check out what inspiring ideas the team came up with:

Jenny Gropp - You are here!

So, something "out of the box" was our theme. I took that to mean do something I don't normally do or something out of my comfort zone. So... the color I reach for least... is pink. And thats where my out of the box part came in, choosing pink.
I thought pink would be perfect with this springtime Easter Basket, so I picked some Copics and got to coloring!

I stamped the image "Rabbit with Flower Basket" in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White paper. I airbrushed around the edges with BG32 and added some piercing around the edge of the circle. Lots of markers but not a lot of coloring time really. Along the bottom I paper pieced the pink layer under the bunny.

I added the Easter Greetings using Memento's Desert Sand ink.

I added a little Wink of Stella sparkle to the white flowers and to the white tail on the bunny. A little dab of Glossy Accents on some of the flower centers.

Jenny Gropp - you are here!

I used a beautiful new die, A2 Divine Eloquence, from Spellbinder's as a frame Love is Patient fit perfectly in the Spellbinder's 28 Label. I airbrushed a bit using n5 and also added piercing by hand around the the edge before removing it from the nestie.

Here's the inside, I simply stamped a portion of the English Rose on the label to embellish.

Finished card has foam tape between layers for dimension and is an A2. It opens tent style at the bottom.

Simple Stories and Perfect Paper Crafting!

I'm excited to be doing a blog hop with Simple Stories and Perfect Paper Crafting this week. We are hoppin’ from Monday, April 7 9:00 am PST – Saturday, April 12 midnight PST. We will be giving away some Perfect Paper Crafting tools and Simple Stories DIY CollectionIt's a different kinda hop this week with different designers posting each day this week.  Check each day on the companies blogs Simple Stories and Perfect Paper Crafting to find out which designers are showing off projects each day!
I had fun with the Simple Stories DIY Collection, bright happy designs and patterns that were easy to use! I have two projects to share below.
PROJECT 1

I used Poppy Stamps' Happy Birthday Background die, cutting it using black paper. The striped paper on the card front is a 12x12 sheet called Lookin' Good. I used my Perfect Layer Rulers to add the borders around the die... which helped define the edge and separated the busy pattern from the center panel.

I used the basic card foundations paper pack from the DIY Boutique Collection to color block the words. The card foundations are double sided with bright solids that were perfect for doing this.

I covered the inside with more of the striped patterned paper and then added another card foundation as a liner. Finished card is 5" x 6 1/4".

PROJECT 2

This card also uses the 12x12 paper from the DIY Boutique Collection. I used Impression Obsession's Budding Rose Stem as the focal point.

I stamped in Memento Black and added just a touch of Copic W00 in the background.

Here are the Copics I used to color the rose.

Here's the up close picture. I added piercing along side and the little flags are from the Icons Stickers. One thing that I really liked about the stickers is that they are just like the card stock... no shine or coating that looks out of place.

My Perfect Ruler was great for cutting just the slice of paper I needed.

Here's the inside of the card. I added a Mother's Day Sentiment from Impression Obsession. Finished card is an A2 and opens tent style at the bottom.

Impression Obsession - You are my Sunshine

It's Thursday which means a new challenge starts from Impression Obsession!
It's all about the SUNSHINE for this challenge! I think we all could use some sunshine after the crazy winter weather! Join us for this challenge and a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to shop for some new rubber from IO. Find all the details on how to play along on the Impression Obsession Blog

Check out what sunny ideas the team came up with:

Jenny Gropp - You are here!

In Georgia we do have the sun shining finally, but along with the warmer weather comes pollen season! Of course this fun Sunshine on a Cloudy Day Stamp Trio is perfect for this challenge! I created the base with slices of paper glued next to each other adding a little piece of grey twine in between each panel.

After stamping the clouds, I cut them out and then airbrushed a little N3 around the edges. I used a stylus on the back to puff them up a bit.

I used dimensional silicone on the back of the clouds to keep them puffed up.

On the inside I stamped the Torn Notebook Paper and cut it out and popped a little sunshine die cut on the side. Finished card is an A2 and opens at the bottom tent style.
