Today is the third day of sharing,
so start at the beginning to see all the inspiring designs!

My card is scary simple today!

Here are the details:
White card stock with Orange Marmalade Distress Ink dragged right on to the paper.
Dylusions Black Paint and my Tall Reeds Stencil came next... dabbing a little paint on with the stencil in opposite corners.
I added a strip of Tim Holtz Halloween Washi along the edges of my black stenciled design and then edged it with some 1/16" Black Rainbow Tape.
I die cut a rectangle in the panel and added more 1/16" Black Rainbow tape to define the edge.
On the white card base I stamped my spooky sentiment from Impression Obsession: Haunting Night

Enjoy the hop!

A fun little witchy card for today featuring some Impression Obsession Dies!

I die cut the trick or treat and the witchy multiple times and glued them one on top of each other so that it had good dimension. Around the circle, I added some black jute string against the edge. My patterned paper is separated by using a strip of 1/16" Black Rainbow Tape

On the inside a sweet halloween wish from the clear set CL553 Is the Moon out Tonight!I edged all the paper using a little black cat's eye ink pad for a little distressed feel. Finished card is an A2.

A Rainbow Hello!

A sweet little Rainbow Hello is up for today!
I used a die cut frame that cuts the strips out form the A2 panel. I colored each strip with Copics and dropped Blending Solution with a pipette along the colored strips before piecing them back in to the die frame. I also added a little 1/16" Black Rainbow Tape along each strip for a little extra detail.
The little Hello Die is from Wplus9.

I used Reverse Confetti's Big Stripe Cover Die. I removed all the stripes and colored them Copics in a Rainbow Pattern. After coloring I used a pipette to drop some blending solution on to the stripes, giving it a watercolor kinda look. A little 1/16 Black Rainbow Tape dresses up each stripe.

Copics used: R46, R43, YR09, YR09, G46, G43, B45, B41, V06, V01, BV04, BV01

"Just Because" is from Impression Obsession's Mini Messages 3 Clear Set
The finished card is an A2.

A sweet and simple little fall card for today. Just a few touches with Copics add a little color. This is one of the new images Falling Leaves from the last release and it is also now available in a new clear set called Early Sunsets. I had a little stash of cork sitting on the desk and love how it added some texture to this quick card. Cool cat and Rainbow Tape!

Embellish it with RainboTape!
Use Rainbow tape to add simple embellishments to your card and scrapbook pages!
I used black Rainbow Tape to embellish this CAS kitty card. I used 1/16" and 1/8" Black to just add some simple strips along the top and bottom. A little extra detailing to add a little flair!

I first stamped the the little cat and then masked it.  After masking the cat, I create the background by stenciling the bricks on to white card stock using MFT's Paver Red and Chocolate ink. A little glossy accents over the glasses for a little shine.

On the inside I just added a simple panel with a positive fur message! Finished card is an A2.

  • Stamps by Paper Smooches: Feline Friend, Charmed Cat
  • Ink: Versafine Black Ink, MFT Paver Red, MFT Chocolate
  • Other: Stitched Rectangle Dies, MFT's Brink Wall Cover Die #MFT756, Rainbow Tape Black 1/16 and 1/8"

Make it Metallic with Rainbow Tape!

Make it Metallic with RainboTape!
The gold and silver metallic tapes comes in various sizes and are super shiny.  Perfect to add to your holiday cards! I created a shaker card with all the metallic elements on the card created with Rainbow Tape.

I used 1/4" Gold and 1/4" Silver for my project. The gold and silver tapes are great colors with a bright metal finish and I was very impressed with how the finished die cut pieces turned out

I just added the strips of tape down on card stock prior to die cutting. I used the Gold and Silver Tape in 1/4" widths.

Look at my two toned die cut above! It has a beautiful finish to it and it was easy peasy to create. You can see my negative piece after I die cut. I repeated the same process with the snowflake dies.

Around the card edge I used more of the 1/4" Gold Tape. I overlapped the corners and stuck my scissors in to miter the corners before I stuck it down.

I created a framed shaker card with clear seed beads in the middle. The clear beads catch the light and look super behind the metallic pieces.

On the inside I used a strip of both metallics along the edge of the card liner. Finished card is an A2.

It's a brand spankin' new team we've put together for a fun product! I'm the last to share this week and the others did some fab projects! I urge you to follow the links above, leave a little comment love and then you can WIN! There's five prizes up for grabs!
Rainbow Tape (aka Hobby Tape) has some vibrant colors in a lot of different widths. It's a crepe tape... think washi tape but it's matte and it sticks and stays in place! The tapes can add some great little detailing to your card or scrapbook pages. The orange and purple colors called for me to make a Halloween project! The little witchy legs image from IO, are perfect to pair up with a Crazy Bird.

I brought my witchy bird to life with a few Copic markers.

I sorted out some different sizes of Rainbow Tapes... but I needed a little bit of a different green to match my polka dot paper. SO.... COPIC marker to the rescue! Yep, you can use your Copic markers on the White Tapes to make your own custom colored tapes!

I put my 1/8" white tape down lightly to color it and then was able to pull it back up with no problem.

I used my small grid mat to help me keep straight when I added my tape. After I had it all lined up neatly, I used my bone folder to burnish it down and folded the edges to the back of the panel. The Copic colored tape turned out great, perfect limey Halloween green!

Rainbow Tapes used:

I especially love the skinniest black tape, the black 1/32" width. I could cut that or glue that that tiny of a strip if I tried! Great little extra details with fun color!

  • Stamps: Impression Obsession #D19282 Good Witch Bad Witch, Impression Obsession #D19286 Witchy Woman, Tim Holtz's Crazy Birds and Accessories Set
  • Dies: Lawn Fawn Square Stitched Frames, Spellbinder's Grand Scalloped Squares, Rectangle Dies
  • Other: Perfect Layer Rulers, Copics, Foam Tape, Glossy Accents, Rainbow Tapes

Some beachy inspiration from the IO girls:

A day at the beach sounds great to me! But for right now I guess I'll settle for my little Copic Beach! The name of the stamp I used today is called Paradise Square. A happy little scene for sure!

Copics to color it up!

I framed it with a simple popped up brown square. A little patterned paper in the background and a jute bow!

On the inside, I added the Drink the Wild Air sentiment. A great image to color up before summer leaves us. Finished card is 4" square.

On with the Hop!
You should be arriving here from

The theme is baby and fabric.... no fabric in the house, as my crafting is limited to paper and scissors only. One hobby gets me in to more than enough trouble! So I pulled out a quilted embossing folder to meet the challenge. I get tired of the the traditional baby blue and pink so I thought I'd change it up with this teeny little giraffe and used the animal colors through the rest of the card. I used Copics to color up the little giraffe and the same Copics to color the Words and Frame Die Cut. With the frame and words I colored the paper prior to die cutting - much easier than after!

It's a die only day for my card and here's the list of what I used from Serendipity:

Copics: E37, E34 and E31

This month's theme is all things Baby! And this is the blog hop order for today!
Get hopping and check out the cute cards!
